How It Works
(1 on 1 Leadership Coaching):
1. SAMPLE SESSION
During your complimentary 30 minute consultation, we’ll discuss what coaching is and how it works, do 10-15 minutes of structured coaching exercises together and leave ample time at the end to cover for you to ask any questions you have related to our coaching relationship. The purpose of the Sample Session is to determine our chemistry and fit together, as well as to explore if our coaching relationship can help you to achieve your goals. At the end of the session, we’ll decide whether we want to move forward working together. Whether we decide to work together or not, you’ll walk away from our Sample Session with increased self-awareness and self-knowledge, and will have concrete takeaways you can incorporate into your everyday life.
2. Discovery SESSION
Once we’ve decided to work together, our first official coaching session will lay the foundation for our coaching relationship. Before the session, I’ll ask you to take the Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) assessment. During our Discovery Session, which will last approximately 120 minutes, we’ll debrief your ELI results, which will give you deep insight into your life. From there, we’ll begin to design our alliance to determine how we’ll work together, establish your priorities and goals, introduce some core coaching terminology, and make sure we’re aligned on logistics. At the end of our Discovery Session, we will have gotten to know each other better and will have worked to establish trust and confidence in our coaching relationship, allowing us to hit the ground running in Ongoing Coaching.
3. Ongoing Coaching
Each month, we’ll chat three times over the phone or videoconference (in person available on request and availability in New York City), with each session lasting for approximately one hour. For each session in Ongoing Coaching, it is up to you to come prepared with a topic that you’d like coaching on. These topics will often relate to the goals we’ve set out during our Discovery Session, but sometimes they may relate to something that is top of mind for you based on what’s been happening in your world.
